Thank you for taking an interest in advertising in The Villanovan. In this media guide
you will find everything you need to place both display and classified advertisements.
The Villanovan prides itself on publishing a professional and unbiased weekly news-
paper. It is written and produced entirely by undergraduate students from each of the
University’s schools - Liberal Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering and Nursing. Only
the actual printing of the paper is contracted out to the Evergreen Printing & Publishing
Company.
The Villanovan is published and distributed around campus and mailed to subscribers
around the country approximately 13 Thursdays per semester in addition to two spe-
cial editions: the Orientation and Basketball Preview Issues. Villanova University has
over 7,000 undergraduates students. The newspaper’s weekly circulation is 5,500.
If you would like to place an advertisement, please e-mail, call or stop by the office
in 201 Dougherty Hall. We can send a copy of the previous issue if you so desire. If
you would like to discuss your advertising options, please call and ask to speak with a
member of the business staff or e-mail us at business@villanovan.com.
