The popularity of reality TV has reached an all-time high during the past few years. People from all walks of life are choosing to star in reality TV shows, becoming more comfortable with the idea of opening their lives to the public.

VH1, a TV network launched in the 1980s, is one of the most well-known networks for "celeb-reality" programming, shows that consist of celebrity characters in reality TV.

Beginning with popular shows such as "Flavor of Love," "I Love New York" and "For the Love of Ray J," VH1 has finally found its niche, combining love, celebrities and reality to appeal to audience members.

Some of its newest reality TV shows, including "Basketball Wives," "What Chilli Wants" and "Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business," have been renewed for a second season by popular demand.

If you haven't already seen these shows, stayed tuned — you won't want to miss all VH1 has to offer this season.

Carmelo Anthony and Alani "La La" Vasquez-Anthony present: "Full Court Wedding"

Carmelo Anthony, basketball star of the Denver Nuggets, and Alani "La La" Vasquez, celebrity TV host and VJ, will be starring in their own reality show featuring their highly-publicized summer 2010 wedding.

The show will highlight the Anthony family, including the son, Kiyan, as it plans for the days leading up to the wedding.

This star-studded event will include family members, celebrities and close friends, including Kim Kardashian, Chris Paul, Ludacris, Serena Williams and more.

The show will consist of a five-part, half-hour series that will end with the wedding finale and premiere on Sept. 19.

"Basketball Wives"

When "Basketball Wives" made its debut in 2009, these fierce women took the world of reality TV by storm with their cheeky, candid and controversial first-hand accounts of life as the romantic partner of an NBA player.

The show follows six women — the wives, girlfriends and mistresses of professional basketball players who find themselves in an unstable sports world that threatens to rob them of their identities.

The cast includes Shaunie O'Neal, former wife of Boston Celtic Shaquille O'Neal; Evelyn Lozada, ex-fiancée of former Boston Celtic Antoine Walker; and Jennifer Williams, wife of former Bobcat Eric Williams, among others who star in the show.

Last year's season stirred a lot of controversy, with Shaunie's public discussion of her marriage which infuriated Shaquille O'Neal.

The show is set to air the second season later this fall and will include new cast members and lots of drama.
